As part of our commitment to the environment, Corporate Express has partnered with Cartridge Rescue™ for many years now, making it easy for customers to return their used cartridges for remanufacture (or recycling where appropriate).
In fact, in 2007, our customers returned over 200,000 toner cartridges to Cartridge Rescue™!
In the past, those customers who participated in the program received a small rebate for each cartridge returned. Collectively, these small amounts could make a big difference to a worth charity, and so from July 1 this year, Cartridge Rescue™ will now consolidate all rebates and donate them to The Royal Flying Doctor Service.
Over the past 15 years, Cartridge Rescue™ has saved over three million used cartridges from ending up in landfill. Based on these figures, Cartridge Rescue™ expects to be able to donate $40,000 per year to The Royal Flying Doctor Service!
How the program operates:
Order a used Cartridge Collection Carton from Corporate Express with your next order. Our re-order code is 86661340. This is a no-charge item. Use the carton to store your empty cartridges and once you have a minimum of 10 empty cartridges, call Cartridge Rescue™ Toll-Free on 1800 628 854 to book a collection online, or visit www.cartridgerescue.com.au
Your used cartridges will be collected and returned to Cartridge Rescue™ at no cost to you.
In addition, if requested, Cartridge Rescue™ will provide you with a quarterly report detailing your individual contribution to The Royal Flying Doctor Service and the number of cartridges collected from your business.
